A Message from our PTA President
Welcome to the new school year! We are thrilled to have both new and returning families join us for a year filled with learning, growth, and fun.
The San Ramon Elementary PTA (Parent Teacher Association) plays a vital role in supporting all of our students by funding essential programs like literacy, technology, art, the school garden, music, assemblies, field trips, and more. Most recently, we have completed 2 large projects–updating our clusters, and improving our outdoor space. We also host fun family events such as Movie Night, the Multicultural Festival, and the Dolphin Jamboree, which help build a strong sense of community.
Your participation is crucial to ensuring these programs and events continue. By becoming a PTA member for just $15, you help provide the resources needed to enrich our children’s education.
Join us at our first PTA event, Sneak Peek, on Wednesday, August 19th from 4:00-6:00pm. This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the PTA, meet other families, and find out who your child’s teacher will be. Additionally, TK/Kindergarten Orientation for students and families will be on the morning of Wednesday, August 19th, for TK 8:45-9:30am and for Kindergarten 10:00-10:45am.
Please note that a PTA waiver MUST be completed for your child to participate in any PTA-sponsored events. Be sure to include all family members who might participate in school activities throughout the year, such as siblings or other caregiving adults, and list any allergies.
As we start this new school year, your time and financial contributions are more important than ever. By donating your time or money, you help bridge the gap between state funding and the true cost of providing an outstanding education. We need your help to enrich every child’s learning experiences and strengthen our school community.
I look forward to meeting those of you I haven’t met yet and working together to make this school year a fun and memorable experience! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at PTA@srepta.com.
Warm regards,
Katherine Stuppi
PTA President
